Good stuff. Hard to argue against Pittsburgh, but it's also an easy assumption as they are the only team to sweep into the second round.

Lol wow. I guess it ranks up there with The Scout. I mean, if the guy is throwing a perfect game, then that means the last batter he faces was batting 9th the entire game. The last guy he faces is Ozzie Guillen. WHY THE HELL IS OZZIE GUILLEN BATTING 9TH?!?!?!?!?

100% agree...the Oilers being anywhere near a playoff spot is a joke. It shows how badly introducing a marketing gimmick(the shootout itself) in an attempt to draw an american audience can mess things up.

Can't forget the Knight lost 2 of those 7 games resting their players in the final 2 games of the season and another couple during the world juniors when they were without Perry, Syvret and Schremp. Easily the best junior team ever. The best part was going downtown after the Memorial Cup victory, I've never seen downtown so crazy.

I agree with your point about Goodbye chant, it looks dumb saying goodbye to a team in game 3 of the regular season. But I got nothing against the Ole chant. Sure it started off in soccer games, but it easily translates to other sporting events. What's wrong with borrowing the chant? I understand, and even share, your dislike for soccer, but the chant is completely independent of the game of soccer. I am not too worried that by borrowing a chant, hockey is going to turn into the travesty that is soccer.

also your sweeping comments directed towards all habs fans are ridiculous.
